Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping our organizational culture and ensuring that our HR practices align with the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human resources management, program management, and talent acquisition, with proficiency in tools such as Dayforce and ADP. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for fostering a positive work environment, enhancing employee engagement, and overseeing various HR functions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business plan.
- Manage the recruitment process, including talent acquisition, employee orientation, and onboarding.
- Oversee payroll processes using ADP and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Administer employee benefits programs and provide guidance on benefits administration.
- Conduct research data collection to inform HR policies and practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing training programs and performance management systems.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to human resources.
- Coordinate recruitment processes including job postings, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks
- Assist in onboarding new employees and conducting orientation sessions
- Manage employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems
- Support employee relations by addressing questions and concerns related to HR policies and procedures
- Assist with benefits administration and enrollment processes
- Coordinate training programs and maintain training records
- Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of HR functions.
- Proficiency in HR software such as Dayforce and ADP is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in program management and research data collection is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- - Proficiency in SAP or other HRIS systems
- Knowledge of human resources management principles and practices
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels
- Familiarity with FMLA regulations and leave management
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Strong strategic planning skills to support HR initiatives
- Familiarity with Paylocity or Ceridian software is a plus
- Ability to manage social media platforms for HR purposes
