We are seeking a front-end Business Development Representative (Sales Development Representative) to drive lead generation and customer outreach efforts. This full-time, or part-time, role is perfect for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn with aspirations to grow in business, sales or leadership.
As our BDR, you will be at the front-end of the sales process, helping us identify, research, and engage new clients. Your primary goal is to generate introductory calls with qualified leads for firm Principals.
This role directly supports co-founder and partner, Rens Hayes, in driving organizational growth. You’ll gain firsthand exposure to executive management, marketing, sales, and high-level business strategy. As H O continues to expand, so will your role and responsibilities, offering career development opportunities for those who want it.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Lead Generation & Research
- Maintain and expand targeted lead lists in Hubspot.
- Research potential clients in the commercial real estate and architecture sectors.
- Identify key decision-makers and gather intelligence on their projects.
Outreach & Prospect Engagement
- Conduct personalized email, LinkedIn, and phone outreach to new prospects.
- Qualify leads by understanding their challenges and needs.
- Schedule introductory meetings and discovery calls for leadership.
Sales Support & CRM Management
- Track and manage all prospect interactions in Hubspot.
- Organize and optimize the sales pipeline to ensure consistent follow-ups.
- Assist in preparing project proposals and qualification packages.
Relationship Building & Coordination
- Manage and coordinate personalized corporate gifting for key clients and partners.
- Assist in researching, scheduling and preparing guests for our industry podcast, Design Development.

Full-Time Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation range: $60,000-$72,000 per year, commensurate with competencies and experience – compensation range is influenced by company performance, with the higher end of the range being tied to our overall company performance
- A transparent bonus program aligned with company performance, paid out quarterly with an opportunity to earn up to 10% of the annual base salary
