The position may operate a variety of hand and power tools and may clean and prepare sites, clean up rubble and debris, and remove waste materials. The position my assist other craft workers.Primary Responsibilities : Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.The Laborer is responsible for the following : Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual laborMaintains a clean jobsite, picks up tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazardsBuilding / DemolitionPerforms material handling and storageLoads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materialsEnsures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed, brings issues to the attention of the foreman and / or superintendentProvides assistance tocraft workersOperate power toolsAble to take direction from management and / or senior craftsmenMaintains a positive attitudeProvide a good work ethic and effort towards all assigned tasksAble to be a team playerWillingness to learn new tasksShare knowledge & help train othersAbility to communicate clearly with the team on the jobsiteDemonstrate consistent attendance on the jobsiteRequirements : Prefer 1 year experience but willing to train the right individualMust be able to travel to the jobsite(s) as assigned.Valid drivers license requiredMinimum tools required : tape measure, hammer & utility knifeOSHA 10 training preferred, but will provideAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsStrong organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely mannerExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workExperience with computers and technology a plusWork independently with minimal supervisionOSHA 10 training preferred, but will provideOther duties : Working hours are 7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm.
