At a Glance:
The Financial Reporting Analyst, Senior reports to the External Reporting Manager and is responsible for assisting with the company’s external financial reporting activities and providing technical accounting assistance.
Location: Tulsa, OK
Work Type: Hybrid; 3 days in office out of Tulsa Headquarters

What you will do:
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC reports, including MD&A, utilizing the Wdesk platform
- Assist with audit questions and prepare audit information requests
- Prepare tie-out packages of external and internal reports
- Assist with SOX 404 compliance activities and fields internal and external audit requests
- Act as a technical accounting resource for the company by assisting with researching, resolving and documenting accounting issues that arise during the quarter
- Provide technical accounting assistance with special projects
- Prepare technical accounting memos for complex or non-routine transactions
- Other tasks and ad hoc projects as assigned

What you need:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting
- CPA or CPA candidate
- 3 - 4 years of accounting experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and written/oral communication skills
- Ability to develop written communications appropriate for external and internal audiences
- Ability to analyze and interpret accounting information
- Excellent computer skills and able to effectively work and communicate in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Candidate must be self-motivated, take the initiative to accomplish work and take ownership of projects assigned
Not a must, but a plus
- Experience working with Wdesk
- 3 years of experience at a Big 4 public accounting firm strongly preferred
- Experience in the oil field service industry strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Hyperion and Oracle preferred
