SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
A Set-up Associate/Delivery Driver is mainly responsible for setting up new equipment for display on the sales lot and in the showroom; however, on occasion will deliver small engine equipment to customers for the Sales team. A successful Set-up Associate/Delivery Driver performs the following tasks in a way that supports H&R Agri-Power’s mission to provide quality products/service at a fair price to afford a reasonable return on assets.
Set-up duty is 85% of time. Delivery duty is 15% of time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set-up new equipment on Sales lot and in Showroom following Sales/Management direction.
- Clean, prep and aid in loading of small engine equipment for delivery.
- Deliver and unload equipment to customers.
- Assist customer with equipment, answer questions in regard to operating equipment.
- Satisfy external and internal customer needs.
- Float to different departments as needed to offer support services.
- Complete general tasks and duties as assigned by store, service, or parts managers.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and safe work environment by interacting with customers, peers, management, and support resources in a way that promotes teamwork and a commitment to excellence.
Qualifications
XPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in the agriculture industry a plus, but not required.
- Experience operating lawn/garden equipment a plus.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Must be dependable and hard-working.
- Able to work outside for long periods of time operating lawnmowers, weed eaters etc.
- Must be flexible with schedule and duties and/or tasks that are assigned.
- Possess a willingness to take the initiative.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and be 21 years of age or older to be insurable.

- Ability to move around the dealership building and grounds without assistance.
- Ability to repeatedly bend, crouch, kneel, stand, reach, grasp, craw, walk, or climb.
- Ability to climb in and out of equipment.
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment safely to prevent injury to self or others.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment or outside for majority of the workday.
