What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Officer position at H. R. Allen, Inc.?
We are currently seeking an experienced On-site Electrical Site Safety Officer to begin work on an active construction project in Clemson, SC. This position will require the candidate to complete daily safety sheets via computer, therefore computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) are required.
** CANDIDATE MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WORKING SAFETY ON A CONSTRUCTION SITE!
**Candidate MUST BE LOCAL to the Clemson/Greenville, SC area to be considered. We are not paying per diem.
The Electrical Site Safety Officer will proactively manage the site safety plan with a focus on eliminating hazards through pre-planning, which results in an incident free work site. The Electrical Site Safety Officer will work under our Corporate Safety Director and Jobsite Superintendent.
Ideal candidate MUST have previous experience working on Large Projects in a related field.
Requirements:
- OSHA 30 Hour Training
- OSHA 500 Training
- Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel (safety documents)
- Familiar with OSHA Rules and Regulations
