About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at Block Advisors, an H&R Block brand. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients year-round.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized service.
- Conduct tax interviews with clients to gather information and provide tax planning advice.
- Prepare and review tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
- Provide tax audit support and representation to clients.
- Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations to provide expert advice to clients.
Requirements:
- 5 years of tax experience.
- Experience completing individual tax returns.
- Tax planning and audit support.
- Ability to effectively communicate in person and virtually.
- Comfort working with virtual tools.
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
