We are seeking a Tax Associate Specialist to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Associate Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting tax interviews with clients, preparing accurate tax returns, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Conduct tax interviews with clients face-to-face and through virtual tools such as video, phone, chat, and email.
- Prepare complete and accurate tax returns, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations.
- Generate business growth by upselling additional products and services to clients.
- Provide clients with excellent customer service, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration with colleagues.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.
- Comfort working with virtual tools, including video conferencing software, phone systems, and chat platforms.
- Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone, and in writing.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred.
