- Bachelor’s degree in social science or related majors
- Professional experience serving as a data analyst with the private or public sector
- Experience and background in analyzing workforce demographic data for the purposes of equity/diversity analyses
The following qualifications enhance the competitive value of the candidate:
Knowledge of and experience in:
- Microsoft Excel including formulas such as v-lookups, pivot tables, and charts;
- Other Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word and MicrosoftPowerPoint;
- SharePoint including lists and surveys;
- Adobe Acrobat Pro;oTableau, SAS, SQL, Oracle, or other analytic and visualization tools of programming languages;
- data cleansing;
- data validation;
- Reconcile multiple data sources;
- Compile data from multiple sources;
- Research to support narrative writing;
- Research of metrics and data in a variety of forms;
- Designing charts and graphs for a marketing context;
- Analytical report writing;
- Project management experience;
- Writing for executive level audiences; and
- Experience writing reports for the Federal government.
