Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Design Coordination: Collaborate with design firms in a design-build format, ensuring alignment with the owner's expectations for design intent, cost, and quality.
• Estimating: Provide cost estimates for both self-performed work and subcontracted items.
• Budget & Scheduling: Review project plans in-depth to establish initial schedules and cost estimates.
• Contract & Procurement Management: Develop and execute contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure on-site and off-site construction complies with building and safety regulations while maintaining project schedules.
• Cost Control: Monitor and update job cost reports and project schedules to maintain efficiency.
• Risk Management: Analyze and mitigate project risks for both clients and the company.
• Subcontractor Coordination: Oversee construction means, methods, shop drawings, and pay applications from subcontractors.
• Problem-Solving: Address conflicts and challenges to maintain project momentum and success.
• Scheduling: Utilize critical chain project management principles to effectively manage timelines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management.
• Strong organization, time management, and leadership skills.
• Advanced knowledge of construction means, methods, and contracting options.
• Experience handling both estimating and project management responsibilities (H & R Construction does not separate these roles). Experience with Sage is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
• Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and design teams.

Schedule & Location

• Full-Time, Monday – Friday (40-hour work week standard)
• Travel projects nationwide with additional compensation package
