Major Responsibilities/Activities

Skill in the use of computers – Microsoft, Excel, Word and Office.
Skill in knowledge of negotiation.
Essential Physical Functions
Must be able to travel 75%
Must be able to drive an automobile.
Must be able to stand and sit as needed.
Must be willing to work flexible and additional hours if needed
Must be capable of lifting up to 75 lbs
- Works with Hörmann-Flexon’s Inside Sales /Customer Support Representative(s) to support all facets of the sales process
- Directs and coordinates promotion of products and services through dealer network.
- Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
- Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective dealers/customers to educate/solicit orders.
- Deliver effective sales presentations, in person and via the telephone to dealers/customers within the assigned territory.
- Planning, directing and managing the success of penetration into key market segments within the assigned territory.
- Forecasts sales, budgets and strategic planning.
- Talks with dealers/customers in person or by phone.
- Displays or demonstrates products, using samples, brochures, website, etc, and emphasizes salable features.
- Quotes prices and credit terms.
- Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of Hörmann-Flexon firm's production and delivery schedules.
- Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
- Coordinates dealer/customer training.
- Supervisory Responsibilities – Manages Dealer network in assigned territory.
This position shall:
- 5 years selling industrial goods
- BS in Engineering or related field preferred but not necessary
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel & Word
