Located in Livonia, Michigan, the 120 employee facility (100,000 sq. ft.) is one of Héroux-Devtek’s centers of excellence for design, development, manufacturing, assembly and support of landing gear, actuation systems and other aerospace components.
As part of the Central Division you will lead P&L responsible for critical machining operations of major commercial aircraft programs supporting Boeing, LockHeed Martin, Parker Hannifan, and military initiatives such as the B-2 Stealth, F105, and V280.
With a strong focus on latest technology of the manufacturing processes with machining automation and techniques we aim to remain the best value producer of complex landing gear components.

The Electronic Assembly Technician provides electronic support for design, build and repair of electronic products and test fixtures. This job description indicates the general nature and level of the work that is expected. Main responsibilities:
- Design and assemble electrical content for customer products and prototypes and test systems according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronics, using hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports.
- Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits.
- Assemble electrical ore electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering or micro-welding equipment.
- Draw schematics for test systems and prototypes.
- Research and order parts and maintain inventory for test fixtures and repairs.
- Test electronics units such as test fixtures, prototypes and customer products using standard test equipment and analyze results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment.
- Programming test fixture components.
- Test functional performance.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical theory and UL/CE codes
- Knowledge of J-STO specifications
- Knowledge of PCB level soldering
- Blueprint reading skills or schematics.
- Five years of experience in a similar organization or industry
- Proficiency using computer based data systems such as MS Office, Oracle Xelio soft and AutoCad
