Responsibilities And Duties
- Slicing meats and cheeses.
- Preparation of hot and cold entrée items.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation through daily and weekly cleaning.
- Maintain safety protocols and be well versed in proper food handling technique per SERV safe guidelines.
- Maintain professional grooming and hygiene standards in accordance with Power Market Guidelines.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Take orders in person and over the phone.
- Ability to plan and forecast the daily and weekly needs for production.
- Ability to assist the Deli manager with weekly and monthly inventory.
- Ability to assist the Deli manager with weekly ordering.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Basic-intermediate knife proficiency
- Must have a basic understanding of the English Language
- Must have the ability to read and interpret recipes
- Must have basic math skills to assist in quantity measurement, percentage, proportions, ratios, volume, and basic algebra.

- Ability to read, understand, and follow through on directions- both written and verbal
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a food handlers’ Certificate
- Must be sales oriented
- Ability to bend, lift, and stand constantly- up to 4 hours- 8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs unassisted
Work Environment
- Must be able to work any shift- including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to tolerate basic cleaning chemicals used for routine housekeeping
- Must be able to maneuver on uneven surfaces
- Ability to work outside
- Ability to work in changing environments- including both extreme heat and cold
- Ability to work in loud environment
Salary : $18
