Position Summary
Under supervision, the warehouse employee is to perform work in the receipt, storage, inventory, and issue of materials. Warehouse employees are required to use powered or non-powered materials handling equipment as necessary. As a driver you will be required load, unload, check load, breakdown loads, and deliver products to customers.

Responsibilities And Duties
- Store packaged food products, liquids, and convenience items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
- Determine and execute proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on shelf life and space availability.
- Practice personal safety and vigilance in the identification of safety and security hazards to actively support a safe and hazard free working environment.
- Use proper body mechanics while lifting to avoid injuries and comply with safe handling procedures regarding receiving, storing, and shipping materials, supplies, and/or equipment.
- Discern details to receive, store, and ship materials and supplies in a safe manner.
- Perform mathematical computations (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, and percentages) for checking, counting, shipping, and tracking materials.
- Complete tasks in a timely, detailed, and orderly manner.
- Follow instructions to ensure adequate comprehensive and follow through.
- Read and comprehend written materials (e.g., references, summaries, memos, letters) in order to apply information and determine appropriate courses of action.
- May need to participate in maintaining warehouse cleanliness.
- Reports to Warehouse Manager
- Deliver orders to customers and properly check in orders.
- Properly count items upon delivery
- Verify paperwork.
- HS Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse preferred.
- Customer service experience a plus.
- Computer knowledge and/or ability to learn computer program.
- Methods, practices, and equipment used in receiving, storing, and shipping material and supplies, methods of packing and unpacking material and supplies.
- common forms and documents used in a receiving and shipping department.
