JOB DESCRIPTION: Production Assistant-2nd Shift (2:30PM to 11:00PM)
General Summary: The Production Assistant is primarily responsible for ensuring all production activities on the are carried out per company requirements and procedures. This role is also responsible for ensuring that quality objectives are met, and policies are adhered to. Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and government regulations, as applicable. This position will report to the Production Manager.
RESPONSIBILITES:
· Assist production manager daily activities to ensure maximum throughput, minimal loss and that job due dates are met on time.
· Assist with allocation of employees, material, and equipment resources to meet, manage production schedules.
· Analyzes processes and operator performance to identify opportunities and enhance productivity.
· Assist with managing manpower, including overtime and staffing needs, as needed.
· Work with addressing personnel needs including performance, quality, capacity, training and technology issues.
· Monitors workflow and most importantly keeps the production team focused and on task.
· Advises the Production and HR staffs as to employee recruiting, selection, orientation, and training needs.

· Displays effective interpersonal skills sufficient to build positive, productive and effective professional working relationships with customers and associates.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· 2 years previous experience as a leader in manufacturing
· Valid driver’s license
· Experience/knowledge of circuit boards and circuit board manufacturing a plus
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
