Overview
The Director of Nursing works with the referral sources and family/clients to determine a care plan specific to each Client. There are many aspects of home care that must be coordinated to ensure a successful experience.
Duties
- works with HR and the Scheduling Department to ensure that the staff assigned will work well with the client/family.
- Ensures the completion of an admission assessment
- ensures appropriate re-certification and supervision of the clients and the staff per RI Regulations
- Provides supervision. leadership, training, guidance, and mentoring for all assigned caregivers.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of clinical experience of which 1 year must be as RN, must have 1 year experience working in homecare (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Must have working knowledge of RI Department of Health Home Care Regulations
- Forward thinker with the ability to be creative and "think outside the box"
- Possess outstanding leadership, teaching, and training skills
- Proven customer service, sound independent judgment, initiative and solid organization and time management skills required
- Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, Spanish language is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
