JOB DESCRIPTION
H&T Roofing is seeking a highly motivated and hardworking Outside Sales Representative to join our growing roofing company. This is a 1099, commission-based position with the potential to earn upwards of six figures based on performance. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to set your own schedule, but success in this role will require determination and a strong work ethic.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prospect and generate your own leads through various channels, including door-to-door sales, networking, and referrals.
- Perform roof inspections, which will require climbing ladders and walking on roofs.
- Present and sell roofing solutions to homeowners, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
- Close sales and ensure all contracts and paperwork are properly completed.
- Follow up with homeowners post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any additional concerns.
**Requirements:**
- Self-motivated, driven, and willing to put in the hard work needed to be successful.
- Comfortable with physically demanding tasks, including climbing and inspecting roofs.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to generate your own leads and maintain a full pipeline of potential clients.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel within your assigned territory.
- Previous sales or construction experience, particularly in the roofing or home improvement industry, is a plus but not required.
