Position Summary
The Fitness Attendants will maintain the cleanliness, services, and amenities offered by the association on the designated floors and in designated fitness center areas.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine equipment functionality and basic maintenance, cleans machines and equipment, and provides fitness guidance and assistance to guests.
- Knowledgeable on industry trends and classes offered to guests and members to maintain sales while following hotel standards and expectations.
- Ensuring safe usage of all equipment and fitness area while assisting as needed.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, and ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Responsible for delivering and maintaining the Forbes 5-Star level of service.
Requirements
- Walking and standing for long periods of time and ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Consistent professional appearance and pleasant demeanor.
- Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and after hours.
- Frequent ability in standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, bending, stooping.
