Summary
As an in-room dining server you will be responsible for the taking, entry, setting up, delivering and retrieving all food & beverage orders to guest rooms and hospitality suites while ensuring quality service, guest satisfaction, and brand and company standards are met.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate set-up & delivery of all food & beverage orders to guest rooms in accordance with established guidelines and procedures on a daily basis. This includes polishing of glassware & silverware, folding/rolling napkins, setting up trays, stocking supplies, etc.
- Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner while delivering order following Le Meridien guidelines and sophisticated style.
- Conduct floor sweeps to retrieve all food & beverage trays in order to maintain established sanitation guidelines.
- Set up and deliver all amenities to rooms in a timely manner.
- Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest, to maintain accountability of all food & beverages served.
- Complete all shift side work as outlined.
- Respond to all guest needs, issues, comments, and problems in a timely manner to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction. Report any less favorable comments to immediate shift supervisor.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

- Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand portion sizes.
- Basic knowledge of food & beverage or a passion for learning
- Ability to stand for long periods time and push-pull up to 25 lbs.
