Skilled Laborer/Excavator for Plumber's helper

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to perform various tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial in supporting our day-to-day operations and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, and moving materials as needed.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assist in the setup and dismantling of equipment and structures.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
• Dig - Operate the backhoe/ excavation equipment by expertly digging around gas, electric, and telecommunication lines
• Ensure safety when digging and working in trenches of up to 15 feet deep.
• Install - Repair/ install underground sanitary or water piping systems, installing piping as needed to connect fixtures and plumbing

Experience

• Previous experience in construction, excavation, and underground digging, or a related field is highly preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment is advantageous.
• Knowledge of plumbing either commercial and/or residential.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively work within a team environment.
