Accounts Payable Analyst
Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile payments to supplier statements
- Be able to work independently yet function as part of a team
- Make recommendations for improvements to accounting processes
- Answer incoming calls with professionalism and provide knowledgeable answers to branch personnel and insurance authorities
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and other projects as assigned
- Other duties, as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, related field, and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 2 years of experience in financial services (preferred)
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-pace, high volume environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
- Experience in a dispersed organization (preferred)
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Ability & desire to interact collaboratively with branch and headquarters management
