Automation Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring production efficiency and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Conduct quality inspections using vision inspection systems to ensure products meet specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices for continuous improvement.
• Operate robotic systems, including Fanuc robots, as needed for production processes.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, machine performance, and maintenance activities.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in operating various types of machinery.
• Experience with robotics to optimize production efficiency.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively for operational guidance.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
