Job Summary
We are seeking a Water Jet Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating Water Jet machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The Water Jet Operator will work closely with other team members to ensure high-quality production and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

• Operate CNC Water Jet machines and other machinery such as wire EDM machines
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining specifications.
• Program CNC Water Jet machines for various machining tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required specifications.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Skills

• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Ability to analyze reports and calculate deviations from desired condition.
• Knowledge of machining processes
• Ability to work effectively in a machine shop environment, including material handling.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
