The Job
The Regional Operations Manager will report to the Sr. Regional Operations Manager of Authorizations and Collections and will be responsible for the oversight of the department to include team management, team and individual workflows, account management, authorizations, and collections processing. The manager will identify and support long-term and short-term goals of the team and drive, develop, and engage employees where team members are accountable for providing exceptional customer service internally and externally.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead team and cross-department meetings to collaborate on ideas and processes.
- Assist with escalated questions, troubleshooting, and research.
- Coach and develop team through monitoring, scorecards, and observations.
- Create tutorials, hold educational sessions, and mentor team members.
- Conduct monthly 1-on-1 meetings with employees.
- Process weekly and ad-hoc reports.
- Continuously improve internal and external processes.
- Mentor, train, and identify growth opportunities for the team.
- Manage hiring, retention, performance, and terminations of direct reports.
- Collaborate with Regional Managers to increase revenue through workshops.
- Update and train on policies and procedures.
- Analyze metrics, identify trends, and implement action plans for timely claims.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Handle escalated payor negotiations and maintain relationships.
- Educate on H-Wave home care program and its patient benefits.
- Stay updated on state laws and communicate changes to the team.
- Build relationships with carriers for authorization and collection.
- Negotiate lien settlements with payors.
- Establish strategic goals and evaluate outcomes.
- Report weekly activities to the Director of Authorizations and Collections.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Proven work experience as an operations manager (preferred) or similar role.
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
- Self-directed, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to execute tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
- Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong planning organizational and interpersonal skills
- Must have a strong understanding of office administrative tasks and event planning.
- Must be a team player, work and communicate respectfully with other departments.
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
