About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive, organized, and friendly, General Manager (GM), to oversee one of our hotels and ensure our guests receive outstanding service.“You will be the face of our reputable hospitality business”:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role in hospitality.
- Strong understanding of hotel and restaurant operations and financial management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales and financial goals.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of the local hospitality industry and market trends is a plus.
- Promote goodwill by being courteous, friendly, and helpful to guests, managers, and all other associates.
Oversee all operations and staff at a designated H. House Hotel:
- Revenue: Aggressively pursue revenue goals, utilizing yield management.
- Profit: Effectively manage & control operational expenses, seek cost saving strategies.
- Quality: Guest Service exceeds Brand Standards, implement programs to optimize results.
- Sales & Marketing: Provide leadership support & direction to the sales team.
- Community Involvement: Maintain good standing with CVB, & civic organizations.
- Leadership: Motivate, coach & train your team, hold accountable, give feedback, reward.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrate integrity, take ownership, communicate, nurture the environment.
