Join Our Team as a Rehab Aide / Rehab Tech in Bluefield, VA
This part-time, split position will primarily be based in Bluefield and occasionally coverage at our Tazewell clinic once a week. As a Rehab Aide/Tech, you'll play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals by supporting our therapy team and ensuring exceptional care. This position offers exposure to a variety of therapies and patient interactions, making a meaningful impact every day. This is an ideal opportunity for someone planning to attend PT or PTA school, offering hands-on experience in an outpatient setting.
What You'll Need:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and a passion for helping others.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to assist patients and move equipment as needed.
What You'll Do:
- Assist therapists during treatment sessions to ensure patient safety and success.
- Prepare therapy areas and sanitize equipment to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
- Support patients in completing exercises and provide encouragement throughout their journey.
- Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling, check-ins, and patient documentation.
- Monitor and manage therapy supplies to keep the clinic running smoothly.
