Responsibilities:
As a Rehab Tech / Rehab Aide, you will support physical therapists across multiple outpatient rehabilitation locations in Roanoke and Salem, assisting with patient care and clinic operations to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Assist therapists during treatment sessions to ensure patient safety and success.
- Prepare therapy areas and sanitize equipment to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
- Support patients in completing exercises and provide encouragement throughout their journey.
- Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling, check-ins, and patient documentation.
- Monitor and manage therapy supplies to keep the clinics running smoothly.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. A passion for helping others is a must!
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and a passion for helping others.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to assist patients and move equipment as needed.
- Enrolled and participating in a program of study leading to qualification as a PTA or DPT
