JOB FUNCTION: Perform window treatment installations to the highest standard of quality and company standards. Window treatment products include shades, shutters, mini blinds, and 2" faux wood blinds.
COMPANY INFO: H2H Blinds is the largest provider of window blinds in the southeast serving the new construction, multifamily and remodeling industries, as well as residential/commercial property investors and managers. We are a full-service window blind vendor solution offering pre-measuring, professional installation, and warranty service. Our current client base includes over 200 builders, including 15 of the Top 20 Homebuilders in Atlanta, Montgomery, Birmingham, Greenville, Charlotte, and Raleigh.
MEASUREMENT / INSTALLATION DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS:
- Monitor communities where H2H provides installations and assessing construction stages of homes in production and recording window measurements per company specifications.
- Multi-family / Commercial window treatment installation which will require lifting and carrying materials up flights of stairs.
- Accurately record window measurements for company documentation and job preparation; submit to Scheduling Coordinator on daily basis.
- General window treatment installation procedures including the securing of all brackets and hardware, leveling, and ensuring proper function of treatment for a variety of applications including various sized windows and doors
- Thorough understanding of window types, terms and installation mounting: single-hung, double-hung, double, triple, inside vs. outside mount, etc.
- Thorough understanding of light-carpentry terms and practices for cutting window blinds, including types of cuts and incremental measurements
- Operate basic carpentry equipment (miter saw) and hand tools in order to modify blind stock into odd and custom sizes; REQUIRED TOOLS ARE PROVIDED.
- Ability to receive daily dispatch of schedule, work independently and with partners, and communicate effectively and professionally with other members of team, including fellow Installers, Warehouse Workers, and Office Staff. (Vehicle provided to take home)
- Familiarity with OSHA Health and Safety regulations, including construction jobsite safety and proper tool usage
- Perform other material transport and delivery duties as assigned
- Overnight trips may be required but are spread out over the course of a few weeks.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work is performed while standing/moving for long periods of time, and may require bending, squatting, climbing, reaching.
- Ability to lift and/or carry medium weights up to 50 pounds, occasionally up and down ladders
- Often involves being on or around active construction sites and exposure to elements of weather including hot/cold seasonal changes, humidity, and dust/fumes.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:
- Traveling to installation jobsite may require extended drive times of 4 hours.
- A GPS Monitoring device are equipped in every vehicle for tracking and driving hours.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or a G.E.D Certificate.
- Two years of experience in new home construction and/or installation services
- Past experience in window treatment installation a plus, including blinds, roller shades, plantation shutters.
- Osha 30 a plus but not required.
- REQUIRED: Cellular phone with integrated camera and emailing features

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
