H2M architects engineers, a multidiscipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm, seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our HR team. This position is responsible for all aspects of the recruitment process, including but not limited to the following: source and screen applicants; schedule and conduct interviews; make recommendations to hiring managers; extend job offers; initiate background/reference checks; and assist with other aspects of the recruitment/onboarding/new hire process as necessary.
Job Responsibilities: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with the HR Business Partners along with other HR team members to perform full cycle recruitment efforts in support of H2M’s continued growth and development. We are looking for someone with a passion for recruitment who will exemplify a commitment to learning about our various business markets and disciplines in all our locations. A primary focus of the role will be to leverage LinkedIn and other recruitment sources to identify, engage, and attract top talent across the firm. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of talent sourcing.
Responsibilities will include the following:
Candidate/Talent sourcing: Conduct targeted searches and source qualified candidates utilizing recruitment tools like LinkedIn (Recruiter Seat), Indeed, Glassdoor, other social media and industry platforms alongside our ATS. Working collaboratively with our HR team, manage employee referral program and courtesy interview strategy; coordinate and attend recruitment fairs and events.
Screening and pre-interviewing: Review resumes and applications, conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate fit and qualifications against job requirements.
Interviewing: Conduct in-depth interviews with shortlisted candidates, including behavioral and technical assessments, to evaluate their skills and potential.
Candidate evaluation and selection: Analyze interview data and make informed hiring recommendations to the hiring manager based on candidate fit and qualifications. This includes maintaining and managing candidate pipelines to ensure a diverse and robust pool of applicants for current and future openings.
Job posting development: Craft compelling job descriptions that accurately reflect the role and attract high-quality candidates.
Employer branding: Contribute to promoting the company's image as an attractive employer through various channels. Work with HR and Marketing to promote H2M.
Talent market analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and talent availability to identify potential candidate pools.
Relationship building: Establish strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their specific needs and ensure a smooth recruitment process.
Compliance management: Adhere to all relevant employment laws and regulations during the recruitment process. Develop relationships with H2M hiring managers and work with HR Business Partners to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s talent needs.
Career Fairs: Manage career fair process, including managing budgeting, registration, assignments prep and follow-up.
Third Party Recruiter Management: Responsible to serve as the primary point of contact for Third Party relationships. Ensure contracts are up to date and processes and procedures are clear and followed.
Vendor Management: Manage LinkedIn, Glassdoor, e-quest, Indeed and other related vendors and make recommendations to ensure programs and support our recruiting efforts.
Best Practices: Enhance processes and procedures for candidate sourcing, resume retention, review and interviewing, including managing career fair resumes, intern alums, etc.
Other Duties as assigned.
Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 3-5 years of progressive recruiting experience preferably within the AEC industry or related professional services firm. Must have demonstrated experience and strong working knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and related applicant/resume databases like Indeed, etc.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; working knowledge and understanding of an applicant tracking system (ATS)
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to interface with staff, hiring manager and leadership team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail and follow-up.
Ability to manage multiple recruitment efforts simultaneously and shift priorities based on business needs.
Ability to make independent decisions and handle difficult workplace situations in a calm and discreet manner.

The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 annually.

Note: The salary or hourly rate indicated does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
