We are seeking an experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Manager for our Water Technologies & Services division. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and executing purchasing strategies, managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts with suppliers. Collaborating with the Project and Services teams, the candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services, while maintaining the Company’s quality standards through coordination with the Quality team. Working with the purchasing team, the candidate will be responsible for several million dollars of transactions each month.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, monitor their performance, address issues.
- Negotiate supplier agreements and contracts for procurement of major equipment in an “engineered-to-order” fabrication environment.
- Keep up-to-date supplier information and qualification status and inform internal stakeholders of critical changes.
- Create strategies for increasing supply chain efficiency and keep project execution competitive.
- Ensure established procurement procedures are followed across all procurement efforts
- Refine and improve procedures related to procurement efficacy and efficiency.
- Find and qualify new suppliers
- Take the lead on large, strategic purchase orders and provide guidance to the procurement team as needed to process common orders
- Ensure timely and accurate creation and distribution of process orders, organize and maintain order acknowledgements, and monitor and follow up with vendors to ensure order fulfillment and resolve any discrepancies.
- At least 5 years in a Procurement function
- Technical knowledge of the water industry (asset)
- The ability to implement innovative ideas, and work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in preparing vendor cost comparison and technical valuation forms
- BS (or certificate) in Procurement and Supply Chain Management (asset)
- Experience with IFS considered (asset)
- Experience with PowerBI (asset)
Salary : $70 - $100
