As our company scales, we're in search of a Senior Hardware Engineer to join our expanding team. This full-time role is perfect for someone with over 5 years of experience, thrives in a dynamic environment, and shares our passion for sustainability. Reporting to the Hardware Manager and Chief Technology Officer, you'll be instrumental in providing technical expertise.
- Research & Development of sensors and supporting electronics using CAD and simulation programs
- Work throughout the product lifecycle to design, deploy, and maintain H2OK systems for major clients
- Work with H2OK applications engineers and Data team to conduct experiments validating sensor applications
- Work independently on a rapidly changing set of cross-disciplinary projects involving mechanical & electrical components design, software development, and rapid prototyping
- Conduct on-site integration and testing with customers
- 3-5 years of experience in Hardware Engineering with a focus on industrial electronics or related systems
- Excited to have extensive ownership over interesting technical problems

- Customer focused, strategic and adaptable problem-solver
- Driven to help clients reduce environmental impact, increase industrial resilience and use AI to enhance their process optimization in a direct and effective manner
- Team player with top-notch written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with Mechanical CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and Electrical CAD (KiCAD preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Python, C, and microcontroller programming
- Experience with hardware and electronics systems integration and testing, Design for Test experience
- Fabrication skills, including machining, 3D printing, and soldering from both a design and implementation perspective
- Experience with PCB design and manufacture
- Experience with Impedance spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy
- Experience with building out commercial ERP / BOM management platforms at small companies
- Experience designing sanitary piping systems to 3A and EHEDG standards
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Technical Japanese, French, German or other language (spoken and written)
