Ice Cream Scooper

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and friendly Ice Cream Scoopers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while serving delicious ice cream treats. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that each customer has a delightful experience. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in the food industry and have a passion for culinary arts.

Responsibilities

• Serve ice cream and other frozen desserts to customers with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area, including the kitchen and dining spaces.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and food safety standards.
• Operate cash registers, process transactions, and handle cash accurately.
• Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and helping customers make selections.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation or the food service industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers.
• Basic culinary skills are beneficial for preparing various ice cream treats.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required in a kitchen setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $18.00 per hour
