Job Summary:
The Director of First Impressions, is the first impression customers and visitors are given when they call or visit Haaker Equipment Company. This position is a customer service position, by greeting, welcoming and directing customer and visitors appropriately; notifying company personnel of visitor arrival. Directs incoming phone calls to the appropriate department and performs general administrate duties as needed. Including but not limited to data entry, word processing and electronic filing. The correct candidate for this position will be 100% customer service focused with a desire to want to help customers.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greets visitor and or customers in person or over the phone with a courteous and enthusiastic manner.
- Maintain employee and department directory.
- Provide basic business information to customers over the phone.
- Prepare letter and documents when needed.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies.
- Maintain a pleasant appearance of the front lobby area.
- Maintain breakroom stock of office supplies.
- Opening incoming mail and disseminate out to the appropriate departments.
- Perform data entry for the finance department.
- Assisting with overflow work in support of all other departments.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to sit and/or stand in one position for long periods of time.
- Must be able to type 55 words per minute.
- Frequently moves objects up to 25 pounds to work area when needed.
- Works well independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to work on many projects at one time and work well under pressure.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and listening skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
- At least two years related experience required (administrative, clerical, and/or supply management).
- Experience working with a multiline phone system.
- Experience using NDS system.
