The Accounts Receivable Representative 1 Tooling performs credit reviews and coordinates activities in collecting overdue payments for Haas Automation, Inc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Using the credit file and computer-generated payment status/history reports as the primary source materials, works with delinquent over 13 days past the regular payment due date accounts to bring these accounts to a current status and maintain them in that fashion.
On a weekly basis, discusses the status of non-performing customers/accounts with the Accounts Receivable Supervisor to determine the course of future collection action.
Reviews past due accounts to determine which customers must be contacted for collection.
Follows company policy in the collection of overdue accounts and refers non-routine accounts to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor.
Prepares reports on current findings and actions taken for past due accounts under investigation.
Interviews customers by telephone to investigate complaints, verify accuracy of charges, or to correct errors in accounts.
Reviews order details for payment issues and the handling of such accounts.
Answers all A/R questions (within realm of authority) to all other dependents.
Review and handling of chargeback claims.
Application of customer payments.
Provides customer account updates for review by the Accounts Receivable Supervisor.
Reviews customer credit checks for terms applications.
Prints daily invoices from accounting system.
Reviews and works customer returns process.
Occasionally works with our European team on review of A/R processes.
Emails and mails invoices, and picks-up daily incoming mail from the mail lobby from time to time.
Handles Helpdesk tickets that are tied to E-com customer questions.

Minimum Qualifications
1 year of general accounting or A/R experience.
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of SAP ERP systems.
Education
Associate's degree AA/AS/AAS from a two-year college or technical school is required, plus additional related experience, training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
