SUMMARY
The Marketing intern will work with experienced staff on various types of projects, as assigned. The intern may work with the Marketing staff to improve and develop marketing campaigns, and support our day-to-day functions.
During the course of the internship, the intern will be exposed to the many facets of marketing that contribute to the success of Haas Automation. Additionally, the intern may help develop, execute, and manage integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns from start-to-finish.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES (will vary)
- Engaging with our audience across all social channels
- Promoting editorial and video content on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
- Researching and curating content and images for use on our social channels
- Supporting the team in tracking growth across social accounts
- Assisting with capturing and analyzing social media and digital advertising metrics
- Assisting, as needed, in creating marketing emails, webpages, and managing workshop promotions
- Assisting with other special projects and events, as needed

Minimum Qualifications
|
- Understands and can utilize emerging platforms, digital media, and web/social media management and measurement tools. Familiarity with email marketing programs and online applications. A positive “can-do” attitude, and willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education
|
Must have been accepted to or be enrolled in a 4-year accredited college or university. Acceptable majors for marketing intern opportunities: Marketing Communications, International Marketing, Marketing Management, Advertising, Marketing Research, or a related marketing major.
Sophomore or Junior standing

|
Language Skills
|
Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations in English. Must be able to write analytical and/or technical reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and create instructional reference material. Able to speak effectively before groups, customers, employees of the organization and/or the general public.
