Facilities Maintenance Mechanic 2 Salary Range: $21.00 - $33.00/ Hr.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Understands/adheres to safety requirements within the department and company.
- Uses basic hand tools.
- Drives equipment/ vehicles such as forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts and street vehicles.
- Assist other level 2 mechanics with plumbing, electrical, and framing.
- Assist contractors and vendors when needed.
- Assist with managing the preventive maintenance on facility related equipment, i.e., forklifts, a/c units, and compressors.
- Develop procedures for repairs and training aids for level 1 Technicians.
- Must be able to operate both powered and non-powered material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jack, cranes, and mobile straddle stacker lift.
- Employees must report any damage to a supervisor or manager.
- Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc.
- Employees must exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies.
