Under general executive direction, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the Human Resources Department. Responsibilities include the administration of all phases in Human Resources, including but not limited to: talent acquisition, benefits, leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, performance management and employee relations. May coordinate with legal counsel as needed. Ensure company policies and practices comply with applicable laws.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Plan and organize all activities of the department. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems with leadership, and recommend necessary changes.
- Evaluate reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
Assist and support managers and employees regarding HR issues.
- Update compensation program, conduct salary surveys, analyze compensation plan; monitor performance evaluation program and revise as necessary.
- Develop, recommend, and implement policies and procedures; prepare and maintain employee handbook on policies and procedures; and annually evaluate; performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost effectiveness.
- Oversees recruitment efforts.
- Participate in employee relations counseling and exit interviews.
- Demonstrate sound judgement and discretion to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

- Demonstrated knowledge of HRIS and ATS.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experienced in leading teams.
- 0-5% Travel Required.
Desired Qualifications
- SPHR certification.
SHRM-SCP certification.
- HRIS experience using Paycom.
- 10 years experience in HR management with increasing responsibility.
- Fifteen years experience in Human Resources is preferred.
- Spanish language proficiency.
Education
Bachelor's Degree BA/BS/BFA/BSA from a four-year college or university is required, plus additional related experience.
