Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintains all assigned areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Proper packaging of parts.
- Performing transactions within SAP (order completions, transfers, etc.).
- Verification of part numbers, utilizing SAP dispatch lists and other SAP information.
- Verifying material counts.
- Safe and efficient movement of all products.
- Maintains component inventory between established minimums and maximums.
- Transfer of non-conforming materials to the proper locations.
- Coordinating with shop personnel regarding materials needs.
- Supplying part handling materials (boxes, pallets, protective paper, etc.) to shop locations.
- Fills-out necessary paperwork/documentation.
- Releasing and receiving of Purchase Orders for outside processing of components.
- Coordination with vendors regarding due dates, pick-ups, quality issues, etc.
- Unloading raw materials from outside suppliers and performing PO receipts within SAP.
- Proper processing of PO paperwork (packing slips, etc.).
- Conducting cycle counts.
- Must be able to operate both powered and non-powered material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jack, cranes, and mobile straddle stacker lift.
- Employees must report any damage to a supervisor or manager.
- Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc.
- Employees must exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies.

Minimum Qualifications
- Maintains an active Haas Forklift certification.
- Knowledge of basic ERP transactions and information, such as Bills of Material, Routings, performing order completions, etc.
- Knowledgeable of material handling activities, including packaging standards, proper use of forklifts, proper protection of parts (oiling, wrapping, etc.) and related procedures.
- Understands the sequence-to-sequence flow of routings.
- Perform basic transactions within SAP, using desktop computers, iPads, etc., as well as proper paperwork processing.
- Knowledge of maintenance requirements of forklifts within the department.
- Knowledgeable in the proper and safe manner of securing materials on trucks and forklifts.
- Experienced in transporting 12-foot long metal bars.
