Habco Industries is a key provider of tools, ground, and test support equipment that has served the Aerospace Industry for over 55 years; both fixed and rotary winged aircraft and across commercial and military applications.
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Assembler to work in our fast paced, high mix / low volume) production environment. In this role you'll assemble electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies and modules working from samples, visual aids, prints, wiring lists and diagrams, routing instructions and process sheets using appropriate tooling and machinery.
Primary Expectations / Responsibilities
Plans, fabricates, assembles, disassembles, sets up, tests, inspects, calibrates, troubleshoots, and repairs electronic and electrical hardware and equipment.
Assembles parts using fasteners in the build-up of electronic assemblies.
Verifies results to ensure conformance with requirements and performs rework as needed.
Performs electronic assembly operations such as wire termination, and installation of wire harness, cable assemblies, relays, transformers, capacitors, resistors, fiber optics or other electronic components.
Performs routine, complex, and repetitive assembly operations and processes to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner.
Provide support for the design of electro-mechanical control systems including schematic development & panel layout.
Support the documentation, assembly, integration and testing of industrial controls/systems.
Assist in the calibration of control system transducers.
Responsible for routine maintenance of equipment in area.
Other duties as may be assigned or required.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent; technical schooling / certification highly preferred
3 years of related electrical assembly experience required; aerospace preferred
Knowledge of the NEC electrical codes
Experience with hand tools, drills, taps, electrical hand tools
Able to bend rigid conduit in addition to experience in control & motor wiring and panel layout
Able to work with minimum supervision
PC proficiency; MS Word, Excel knowledge and ERP systems
