What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Driver position at Habitat America?
Habitat America, LLC is a fast growing property management company primarily based in Charles County, MD. Based out of LaPlata, Maryland. A Bus Driver (approximately 24-30 hours per week) is needed for four senior apartment communities in the area. Work hours will be M-F between 9 am - 3:30 pm, however hours will vary based on scheduled trips with occasional evening and weekend hours.
The residents appreciate the service and you will get a chance to know the clients personally. This is a low pressure position and major responsibilities include transporting residents safely to and from outings and scheduled trips. Similar experience is preferred but not required.
Job Requirements:
- Applicants must have a good driving record and valid driver's license
- Must be willing to have flexible hours
- Must possess a patient and cheerful demeanor with residents and team members
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Prior van driving experience is preferred but not required (CDL license is not required)
