Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their shopping needs. Your ability to engage with customers, manage transactions, and maintain store organization will contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and ensuring accurate cash handling.
• Stock shelves and maintain product displays to ensure the store is well-organized and visually appealing.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall customer experience.
• Supervise and train new staff as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
• Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in transactions.
• Basic math skills for effective cash register operation and inventory management.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Experience supervising or training staff is a plus, but not required.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
