Habitat's Construction Assistant works closely with the Construction Managers to build Habitat homes from build site preparation through the receipt of the Certificate of Occupancy and final inspection. The Construction Assistant works to ensure jobsites are prepared and equipped with the materials and supplies necessary for each day’s scheduled work and also ensures quality and safety standards are met. The Construction Assistant works to maximize efficient and effective practices while working with a dedicated group of volunteers and future Habitat homeowners. The Construction Assistant may also be called upon to follow up with call-back work orders.
