THE RESTORE IS HIRING FOR ONE FULL-TIME POSITION.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position is primarily customer and donor service based and will be responsible for day-to-day type retail related responsibilities and operations of the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sioux Falls ReStore. The intended purpose of the ReStore is to sell a wide selection of new, blemished, and useable quality building materials. All sales help support the Mission of our local Habitat for Humanity.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Donation Acceptance/Processing – This position can be physically challenging because it requires helping the donor remove items from his/her vehicle. Once the items are in the processing room, they must be cleaned, organized, packaged, and ticketed. Successful applicants will also be responsible for moving items out to the sales floor with the help of rolling carts and hand trucks for large items.
2. Donation Pick-Ups – Position may assist with picking up donations from customers who requested pickups from homes or businesses.
3. Merchandising/Sales Floor/Facility –Merchandising includes everything from putting out carts of small merchandise to staging entire cabinet sets. Other tasks include cleaning and sweeping around the store.
4. Customer Service – Successful applicant will be able to provide a positive customer experience while helping customers find specific items, while answering questions regarding sold items/returns, and helping load customer purchases.
5. Other Duties as Assigned by the ReStore Manager and Executive Director
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Previous customer service and warehousing experience is a plus
2. Must be able to work well both as a team and independently
3. Ability to lift 50lbs frequently and 75lbs occasionally
4. Ability to spend majority of the day standing or moving. Work may require considerable standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
This person reports directly to the ReStore Manager and responds to requests from the Executive Director. This person works in a team atmosphere of mutual respect and cooperation with all staff and volunteers.
The successful full-time applicant will work Tuesday-Saturday 9:00am – 6:00pm or a similar type schedule.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
