What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service/Sales Associate position at Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County?
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Assist customers with inquiries, product information, loading heavy items and sales
- Load and unload customer donations and items including heavy items.
- Sell technology, wireless, and electronic products to customers
- Utilize phone etiquette to handle customer calls professionally
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks
Requirements:
- Lift 40 lbs individually, 50 or more with assistance, walk on uneven surfaces, assist loading and offloading of trucks.
- Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and providing accurate pricing information
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Technical sales knowledge is an advantage, but not required
