ReStore Associate - Bentonville

Job Description

Reports to: ReStore Manager

Requirements:

· Minimum high school diploma or greater

· Clean driving record

· Ability to pass certification in first-aid training

· Must be clean and neat in appearance

Essential Job Responsibilities:

· Superior customer service

· Ability to lift 25 pounds/team lift over 25 pounds

· Ability to perform heavy manual tasks, work standing or walking for eight hours if necessary; be able to perform outside duties in all types of weather

• At various times throughout the day, must be able to bend, stretch, kneel and twist while performing essential job duties

· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and orally

· Ability to operate forklift (will train)

· Ability to drive box truck and truck with 16’ trailer

· Ability to use/operate all tools, dollies, hand trucks and pallet jacks safely

· Ability to keep work area neat and organized with an excellent work ethic

Other:

· Ability to work with staff, volunteers and community service workers

· Testing appliances, lighting, etc., to ensure they are in safe and good working condition

· Ensure store is safe, aisles and doorways are clear of obstructions

· Restock and reset sections of the ReStore showroom floor, making sure all items are priced prior to being placed on the floor

· Assist customers with purchases, questions, regarding merchandise and loading of purchases

· Assist donors with unloading their donations

· Organize, sort, clean and price donations

· Good time-management skills and ability to work unsupervised

· Answer telephones when necessary, taking down accurate information

· Supervise/oversee community service workers as needed

· Attend staff meetings, training, Affiliate events, etc. when required
