Position Title: Construction Site Supervisor
Department: Construction
Reports To: Construction Manager
Designation: Full-time, Salaried
Schedule: 5 days/week, 8:00am-4:30pm, 1 Saturday/month
Salary: $50,000-$60,000/year.

The Construction Site Supervisor oversees construction volunteers, performs, and ensures task completion for New Home Builds, Rock the Block projects, Property Maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
- Uphold HFHO mission and values.
- Ensure a safe, secure, inclusive, and healthy worksite.
- Prepare sites daily for volunteers.
- Conduct daily safety training.
· Submit daily construction documents.
· Work alongside and supervise volunteers.
- Train volunteers, including crew leaders and partner families.
- Maintain respectful, accurate, and timely communication.
- Provide a positive volunteer experience.
- Physically assist with construction as needed to maintain the construction schedule.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Acquire and maintain safety certifications.
- Communicate with the Construction Manager.
- Report on construction progress and expenses.
- Attend HFHO events and meetings as required.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
· Reliable, motivated, self-starter.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 3 years in residential carpentry.
· Supervisory experience.
· Ability to read blueprints and understand building codes.
· Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA standards.
· Valid Driver’s License.
· Ability to work with diverse volunteers and teach them.
· Strong people skills and patience.
· Basic skills or the ability to learn Microsoft Office and construction management software.
· Lift up to 70 pounds several times daily.
· Work on wet or uneven surfaces.
· Stand, sit, kneel, climb ladders and scaffolding.
· Communicate accurately and clearly.
· Ability to work and perform job functions indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions including heat and cold.
