Looking for a Construction Project Administrator/Accountant able to manage the financial aspects of our construction projects, the candidate will work closely with project managers and CFO to ensure projects stay on budget and meet financial goals, the candidate should have the ability to multi-task and juggle different tasks and hats in a fast pace environment, in a dynamic organization with multiple projects/Entities. The role requires working closely with project managers, subcontractors, vendors and directors to ensure that financial activities align with the project timelines, budgets, and contract terms.
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant and/or Administrator to join our dynamic finance team. The job also entitles monthly Funding Draw Request/Submittal, A/P, A/R, maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with Construction Loan processes, admin and much more.
Duties
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Interpret financial reports to provide insights into business performance and trends.
- Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections.
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in budgeting processes by providing relevant financial data and analysis.
- Collaborate with team members to support overall financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Administration and/or Finance is preferred.
- Proven experience in financial accounting, corporate accounting, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of debits and credits, as well as general ledger reconciliation techniques.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial report interpretation is essential.
- Experience with bank reconciliation processes is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of wills, trusts, and estate law is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in accounting software is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey financial information.
