Role Scope:
We are looking to bring on our first Strategic Finance leader to build and scale the function which will:
- Own the development of mid and long-range forecasts for select markets and the company overall, in collaboration with FP&A, growth, business development, and market leadership
- Partner with the business development team to establish and codify the decision criteria for new market / contract launch, including financial performance and key contract terms
- Help drive equity and debt fundraising processes from end-to-end
- Co-lead Habitat's "deal team" with participation from Legal, Finance, Business Development, and Executive Leadership Team to drive towards alignment and an ultimate "go / no-go" decision on new opportunities
- Manage engagement with current and potential investors including both completion of ongoing reporting requirements and addressing bespoke diligence questions
- Assist in preparing materials for the executive team, including board decks, investor materials and other executive updates
- Improve predictability / forecasting capabilities of financials and business metrics
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience, preferably in investment banking, high-growth company strategic finance, private equity or venture capital
- Extensive experience with financial and operating modeling and analyses that underpin capital raising, M&A transactions, and/or investment decisions
- Ability to roll up your sleeves, including by building financial models and slide presentations
- Demonstrated ability to be methodical, thorough, and meticulous
- Exhibit a self-starter attitude, identify challenges and implement solutions before they escalate
- Exposure to, or are interested in learning about, value-based care models and the national payer and risk-bearing provider landscape
Compensation:
We take into account an individual's qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for medical/dental/vision insurance, short and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) savings, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The expected salary range for this position is $159,000 - $175,000 and is a bonus eligible position. The actual offer will be at the company's sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate's qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.
