Reporting to the Divisional Sales Manager, the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for every industrial water user in LA and Ventura Counties. Whether it’s a cardboard recycling facility recycling our resources, a beverage plant bottling the water that we drink, or the power plant generating the power that we use, you will be helping them ensure that they have the correct analyzer for their application

This position is part of the Field Sales Team located in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties and will be remote.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Planning for the day, week, month, and year
  • Customer outreach and project follow up in the office (blocking and tackling)
  • On-site job walks for new projects at industrial customer sites
  • Learning about new applications and how Hach can help
  • Local travel that can include overnight stays


The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 5 years of practical water management as an operator, seller, technician, engineer, project manager, or other water industry related role
  • Experience in an analytical testing environment and operating environment that could include pharmaceutical, petrochemical, food production and other manufacturing facilities
  • Direct experience using Hach (and/or similar) equipment (for example, the DR3900, DR900, DR1900, Orbisphere, 6110, GLI, electrochemistry, and other liquid analytical equipment)
  • 2 years of experience working in Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications
  • A valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
