The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. Lead Innovation & Drive Strategy
- Shape and execute Hach’s technology vision, identifying emerging trends in water analytics.
- Manage and optimize a portfolio of research projects, turning ideas into impactful products.
- Foster external partnerships to accelerate innovation and enhance technical capabilities.
- Work cross-functionally to translate research into market-ready solutions.
- Engage with customers, industry experts, and stakeholders to validate concepts and assess tradeoffs.
- Evaluate M&A opportunities and structure partnership contracts to drive strategic growth.
- Represent Hach at industry events, field visits, and technical conferences.
- Enhance internal Technology Development Processes and establish best practices.
- Education: Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master’s) in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in research and technology development for technical products.
- Expertise in ultrapure water measurements, total organic carbon (TOC) analysis.
- Hands-on problem-solving skills with a track record of moving research from concept to development.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with external partners, and influence stakeholders.
